Connecting with workers through the AJCC and the community college has allowed us to expand capacity and serve our customer needs better. Costs for employee training was covered by WIOA and I was able to successfully grow my business with the help of some wage subsidies too. I have alse recently recruited through the community college using an apprenticeship model and have been impressed with the proficiency and work ethic displayed by the students. No. You don’t need US citizenship or a social security number to join our programs. They’re open to local adults, no matter your immigration status. ID may be required to confirm your legal name.
